The Case of the Missing Servant

The Case of the Missing Servant (Vish Puri #1) - Tarquin Hall Thanks, Abhishek, for recommending this to me!

Vish Puri is a truly unique detective. If I were to try to describe him, I'd say, maybe, take Nero Wolfe but give him Stephanie Plum's friends and family, and set him down in Dehli.

One of the things I loved the most about Vish Puri was that he isn't morally conflicted about anything, he knows whats right. He isn't a troubled soul. He also gets credit for what he does, he's not just sure of himself, he's also recognized by his community as an upstanding citizen and the country's top detective. Even the cops admire and look up to him. This mystery was satisfying in many ways, not just because the case was solved. I can't wait to read the next one.
